Artist Statement

My sculptures are rooted in the context of the human figure, as I find this to be an endless source of inspiration and expression. My art work engages socio-political, spiritual and personal themes.  The expressionist style of my work is used to present various physiological states of mind and spirit. . Transforming the conceptual into the concrete, the metaphysical into the physical. With a sense of fortitude and humility I continue this journey.

Each sculpture is personally hand made and cast in bronze or fired in a kiln. The hand of the artist further creates an unique entity of each work.
